OUR FOOD

We offer a range of seasonal dishes with recipes originating from Aleppo, other Syrian cities, surrounding countries, as well as our fusion dishes which bring delicious traditional flavours with a modern twist.

Our starting point is a bowl of                       - crispy seasoned cauliflower drizzled with tahini sauce and topped with parsley and pomegranate seeds.

From there we have our bestselling wraps with fillings of cauliflower, chicken or lamb and the dish that brings people back: fatteh.

Fatteh is a delicious layered dish originating from the Levant region of the Middle East. The word "fatteh" itself means "crushed" or "crumbs" in Arabic, reflecting a key component of the dish: crispy flatbread!

Fatteh is a versatile dish. Its beauty lies in the combination of contrasting textures and flavours – the crunchy bread, the creamy sauce and the fresh toppings all come together to create a satisfying and delicious meal.

Base:

Pieces of pita bread fried until crispy, layered with a garlic-infused yoghurt-tahini sauce.

And a choice of topping:

Aubergine fatteh

Roasted aubergines cooked in a tangy tomato and pomegranate sauce.

Lamb fatteh

Our 16-hour slow cooked lamb with aubergines in a tangy tomato and pomegranate sauce.

Chicken and rice fatteh

Our signature spiced chicken with rice.

Fatteh trio

If unsure of what flavours to try, then the best option is to go for one of our mezze platers, offering a wide mix of flavours.

Depending on seasonality, we also offer a range of salads, soups, a selection of delectable pastries and homemade desserts and sweets, and even ice creams

Special mention to the tahini brownie, and our signature cherry baklava that has delighted every single person who tried it (and even inspired a few bakers in London to offer their own version).
